East Midlands Teams Continue 100% Records

In the final ties of 2008, both Leicester and Nottingham continued their 100% perfect records on GFSN Matchday 4.
Both East Midlands sides defeated former GFSN champions.
In Nottingham the game was played on a 3G surface, and Ballbois recorded a 5-3 win over a Bournemouth side keen to get involved with the title race.
30 miles south in Leicester, a hot-tempered game ended with the hosts winning 4-1 against a determined Falcons side. The hosts were reduced to 10 men early in the game but they still proved too strong for the current league champions.
Hotscots got back to winning ways with a 9-nil win over Leftfooters, meanwhile London Titans made it back-to-back away wins, with a 2-nil win over 2005/06 champions Brighton Bandits in Hove.
Birmingham Blaze and Yorkshire Terriers match was postponed due to a frozen pitch, and will be replayed at a later date.
